CARTERCAP Limited was founded in 2005. We have worked in the offshore and petrochemical industry for more than 20 years.

During this time it became apparent to that there were a number of safety issues requiring attention, particularly with regard to scaffolding.

We set about finding a solution, a simple safety item was required. It had to be installed easily and quickly, and because of the industry it would have to be non-absorbent to oil and chemical spills, and ideally, this single product should be able to replace the several different products in use thus providing an extremely cost effective solution to the safety problem.

 

 

 

After much research and development the CARTERCAP was patented in 2005 and after 2 years of further development the product fulfilled all the above criteria and was released to the industry in 2008.
